SUMMARY:Demonstration of camera obscura
DESCRIPTION: \n \n \nShiam Wilcox will be attempting to create a camera obscura in Howsham Mill.\nThis is a natural phenomenon later used by photography. It involves\nblanking out light and inserting a tiny hole. Light is projected through\nthe hole and casts an image of the outside world into the darkened space.\nThe resulting image though is back to front and upside down, where the light is flipped as it enters the hole. The camera obscura has been used by artists for hundreds of years, and later by photographers through the construction of cameras.\nNo need to book, all welcome. Free admission.\n
