Outdoor Maths
Come and join us for a full day of putting maths into a real life context! Most groups do a measuring activity, a data collection activity and a shape activity.
We can adapt this for any age group.
Typical plan:
10.00am – 10.30am – welcome / tour / health and safety
10.30 – 11.15 – measuring activity
11.15 – 12noon – data collection activity
12noon – 1.00pm – lunch to include s’mores cooked over the fire
1.00pm – 1.45pm – shape activity
1.45pm – plenary and walk back to bus
